It all came down to the Super Bowl. For those of us that had nothing to lose and took the supposed slight underdogs… bingo! As I stated in the beginning of the season, I sold Rob my old algorithm for cheating but I failed to mention it was because I developed a new one :). There’s still plenty to be excited about, Deven… like… uh… I’m not feeling that creative right now. Nonetheless a solid year and you still came away with 8x your investment in 2nd. See, good stuff.
Meghan probably caused the most havoc moving from 5th to 3rd, knocking Lesley out of any cash. Ouch. Meghan is also etched in the record books as holding the highest end of year ranking for a female participant… Ryan Sampson does not count in the Hot Tub. Sampson would have finished 4th overall had he remained in the main pool, but he’ll take home almost double the money as the tub king.
The French ambassador was a fierce competitor all season and forced the serious players to step up our games. However, this makes him a poor new addition to the pool as we like to target the easy money (guys like Kevin) not recruit winners. But we’ll keep him around next year since he’s a class act and will represent the MFP with pride!
It was a great way to end the season and we hope to have everyone back plus new additions. Just remember that in life it is impossible to “f#$%^$# throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time” whether playing by yourself or with a team. You have to kind of throw it up, give it a second or two, and then catch it… way easier with Frisbees too. Until next season!
