Week 8 concluded with some big surprises: the Bucs’ victory, the resurgence of Denver’s offense, Kevin taking the reigns on 1st, the Bucs’ victory (cannot be overstated), and Danita tying Kevin for this week’s high! Danita had been so busy helping Meghan and I with Callan over the past month that she put the pool in life’s overall 2nd priority. Completely excusable given this specific circumstance. She is truly awesome!!
On the flip side, Trey and Zach posted scores that resemble a bad day for Zach’s front 9… maybe a good day for Trey?? It was a big gamble on Indy that almost paid off… but didn’t… so your scores blew. Your performance was equivalent to anyone that played defense on the Giants or Saints.
I feel like that Paul Simon song, Slip Slidin’ Away, has been ringing in my ears lately. What exactly does he mean by “you know the nearer your destination, the more you’re slip slidin’ away”? I belong in 1st, Paul… but I can’t get there if I keep doing all this slip slidin’. Good luck this week!
